Samsung Unveils Galaxy Note 5 In India

Samsung has recently unveiled the long awaited Galaxy Note 5 in the Indian market with much hype. Available in two variants, 32GB and 64GB, the much anticipated handsets would be priced at Rs. 53,900 and Rs. 59,900 respectively. The phablet which was globally launched in the last month is expected to be introduced in the country in black sapphire, gold platinum and silver titanium. Galaxy Note 5 sports a 14.47cm (5.7-inch) QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Powered by a 64-bit Exynos octa-core (2.1GHz quad-core + 1.5GHz quad-core) processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, the phone comes with 32GB and 64GB variants without expandability via microSD card. Packed with a non-removable 3000mAh battery, the device supports fast-charging on both wireless and wired chargers. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI layer. It features a robust 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), besides a 5MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies. With the connectivity of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO(2×2), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, microUSB 2.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and 4G LTE Cat 9 / LTE Cat 6, the Galaxy Note 5 smartphone features an integrated fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor. Along with these amazing specifications, the device also sports an improved nicer S Pen with better pressure sensitivity.
