Asus has sent out invites for the launch of its upcoming premium lineup of laptops in India. The company has sent out media invites, which reads “beyond the edge”, for the launch to be held on September 27. Incidently, two of the laptop’s models namely UX430UA and UX430UQ were listed online this week at Rs 74,990 and Rs 93,990. The Asus ZenBook UX430UA and the the Asus UX430UQ share almost the same specifications but the latter comes with an extra graphic card. It has the Nvidia 940MX GPU graphic card onboard that comes in addition to the integrated Intel HD GPU. The laptops sport a 14-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) NanoEdge display and according to the listing the devices have an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The company says that the canvas is 13-inch but the display it includes is of 14-inches. Both laptops come in Royal Blue, Rose Gold, Quartz Grey and Shimmer Gold colour variants. Users will get the option to choose from three different processors + RAM customisations – Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. All three run on Intel 7th-gen ‘Kaby Lake’ processor along with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. It can be customised with 4GB, 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD storage drive. The devices will also be available with Windows 10 Home or Pro versions. The laptop includes a Type-C USB 3.1 Gen.1 port, Type-A USB 3.1 port, USB 2.0 port, Micro HDMI and a SD card reader. It also has a full-sized backlit keyboard with Glass-covered touchpad and a fingerprint sensor at it’s top right corner. In addition, the laptop features dual 1.5W speakers with ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system. There is a HD webcam onboard as well.
